I am glad to catch idea from your article. It has information I have been searching for a long time.
This looks absolutely perfect. All these tinny details are made with lot of background knowledge. I like it a lot. Keep on taking action!

Well done. These are the future business leaders and they NEED to know the power of "Design Thinking!" I am glad to see this being done more in places like Harvard.

Thing is, my problem would be that they aren't the same product... and that they should be used in conjunction with each-other.

WD means "water displacing" - it dissolves rust and drives out water. It's a non-petroleum cleaner, NOT a lubricant. I'll say again, WD40 is NOT a lubricant and trying to use it as such is just asking for it to fail.

PB50 is a petroleum based lubricant.

It's why restoring rusted items like chains my process is to first run it through a degreaser, then wash it in soap and water with a wire brush, then hose it in WD-40 and let it sit for a day, THEN hose it in a lubricant like 3 in 1, Marvel or PB50.

I think that's the intent of the name, to imply it's the lubricant you should use after cleaning with WD-40.

Again, WD-40 is NOT a lubricant, it's a cleaner. PB50 is a lubricant.

Great post, and a very interesting and insightful perspective on how GM has essentially "butchered a brand" that was once perceived as both innovative yet very practical — as well as stylishly designed and dependable line of products. Yet another example of a company ignoring, then alienating their core customers.

I miss my old 1989 SAAB 900T...

Ben;
As the owner of 7 SAABs (5 pre GM; 2 post). I say "sucked the life blood" is right on!
When they killed the 5-door model of the 9-3 I new the end was coming. To this day my wife still pines for the 80s style of the 900. The car was a tank, but was the safest vehicle on the road.

Labview is not appropriate when one intends to migrate to an embedded system, since the 'code' is completely discarded. We tend to build prototypes in languages that are directly applicable to development. Experience has shown that this is the more efficient path for an embedded engineer.

However, if one is not a programmer, then Labview can surely be the only course available.
