There are a number of new forces in the realm of social innovation that provide me with much hope: social entrepreneurship, micro-finance/enterprise, and base of the pyramid models. Each of these tap the potential of the poor. We were pleased on have Continuum's help on launching our effort to democratize leadership development and unlock the potential of people not traditionally seen as leaders (see www.leadbeyond.org).
